AcipHex. Seriously. At first I thought it was a spoof. Touted to help prevent heartburn, I can’t help but wonder what the side effects are – you know, the usual suspects – gas, diarrhea, anal leakage . . . I’m just saying.
Fortunately for the drug, the most common side effects are headache and allergic reactions. Maybe they should have brainstormed a little more with the name. I can’t help but laugh every time I hear the commercial.
